latest readings on mental health and therapy:
basically, anxiety is a signal, a voice telling you to focus your effort on something
it is uncomfortable, but it is not inherently bad. anxiety, fear and excitement use similar pathways involving adrenaline. there's anxiety and there's disordered anxiety where you are in a safe situation but you still feel unsafe. because your brain has decided in response to a past situation that it needs you to highly avoid this situation. if your anxiety is giving you problems, that's where you need help. avoidance feeds disordered anxiety and makes it worse. therapists often request customers to do up an exposure hierachy as part of gradual exposure therapy. and understanding courage is not an absence of fear but a choice you make. in act acceptance and commitment theory, this is called willingness. successful exposure gives you enough proof that the anxiety is unfounded and resolves it. breath exercises help you feel less awful at the moment of anxiety.

- felt so tired last night and KO-ed after the previous night caffeine fueled completion of the hubspot module
- have not played any android games and maybe i should to get a little dopamine shot

- being off track for my todo lists, have not been very structure, been just relying on my web timer
- i feel off keel whenever i subject gets repetitive and shallow. its just fucking boring to listen to something when you don't see the point of it. also cheating increases anxiety when you decide to try and save time by googling the cert answers. i do need to open up and highlight the transcripts.
