06/09/2020 - sarcastic cashier at koi waterway, negative relative

hi guys welcome to my emotional poop for today. if you are not interested in my minor woes, pls avoid reading. i prefer to blog vs deplete my friends' emotional reserves. 

one thing stressful about the koi card is.
  • i like to use the self help but i think human cashier dont like it because it eats into their job role.
  • its very stress to use the self pos and have the cashier so nearby.

bought a drink and was redirected to top up - nice update to the POS -
but. either i miss it. or there wasn't any confirmation of my purchase.

  • remember, when i received an error from the pos about insufficient koi card funds.
  • redirected to top up, chose the scan and paynow option.
  • confirmed screen for card top up
  • missing the drink purchased + card balance screen. 
    • either i missed it or there wasn't the confirm screen
  • the male cashier was being a bitch and trolling me when he asked me if i wanted to make any additional order. i was confused and replied no why would i want to order more when i asked to cancel. then he told me to get out of the queue since i am not ordering. 
  • walao i do feel like punishing him by outing him eg post behavior and what happened + time + outlet on koi's fb page. 
  • anyway i decided to exercise my hobby (web UI) + be constructive by feedbacking on koi's fb page about the missing purchase confirmation screen.

it feels somber to speak to them
like you can smell the negative mindset. they only want echo chamber.
and people say yes yes yes
like don't they feel weird when you notice all people can do is to agree with you meh? like the convo very polite and not frank or familiar at all

  • they show you their side hustle and ask your for your opinion on it
  • but when you give it they have so many excuses. cannot print price list etc just hand write it la. i can smell bullshit leh
  • too protective of their baby. but also bullshit la, not willing to do what's useful
  • anyway no point forcing.
  • i heart pain when they tell me they dump $$ to buy some props for their display. and all the money spent on stones and chains just so they can fuel their "dream" aka their hobby aka their excuse to feel self esteem after leaving the workforce
  • i was telling them you need a main idea and selling point so you have more direction. you can't be good in everything. that's why your selling point matters.
  • but i feel uncomfortable so i typed a long chat evaluating the side hustle and told them it was my two cents worth. they either take it or leave it. i rather give constructive feedback straight to them then just bitch about how narrow minded they are.

very narrow minded. not fun to talk to them.

this just came out. his recent songs are getting better, i'm impressed. metaphors and imagery on point. flying, running barefoot, looking back, blackened nails, tears in sleep, warm bright sunlight, dancing alone, flying free like a bird i relate to this because my life is to be honest, so-so in the friends department and non existent in the romance department.  i don't feel like really sad, or regret, or i need to change it. friends are busy and settled down,  some are less able to provide a listening ear (maybe to them it is childish, immature, or being listened to means you have have to reciprocate so maybe not, they have theirs at home already, they are stressed and have no more bandwidth for anything else).  that is the reality of being an adult. maybe the occasional sympathy and warmth from a colleague or friend or stranger. but that doesn't do it for me. i don't need the superficial. and i feel it is so easy to have values not align one day, or per
